4 Torx screws on the panel at top seen when door open. This is an important repair, though it would have been easier to leave as it was. The control or selection panel is right on the front and is stressed each time you open it. If you feel the front panel is flexing more than it should, check this piece for broken tabs and replace if gone. Read more

Ordered the left and right latch, took off the trim ring, unscrewed the door face and removed it, replaced the latches and I was done! The reason these parts are so expensive is because they are METAL, not the cheap original plastic. Read more

The video associated with the part was easy to understand. The actual repair was easy - maybe 10 minutes. But getting the top casing of the washer fitted back over the base was a huge pain. That took 8 tries to finally get it locked in just right. The washer is 20+ years old though. The parts were all exactly correct and fit perfectly. Shipping time was excellent. Surfed the web, got advice, ordered the part, shut-off the electric power, disassembled back panel of door, removed wires for old switch and installed onto new electric door latch. Reassembled door panel - it is a little tricky, need some patience to get it all together, but it does go easily. Read more

Our Kitchen Aid mixer was shipped without a handle on the arm that raises and lowers the bowl. Apparently it was a cost savings measure on some models. Kitchen Aid support was no help.
