Ranges, wall ovens, and microwaves require a hub blade assembly in order to operate efficiently. The hub blade works inside the device to help with the various heating cycles. With use, because of misuse, or as a result of accidental damage, the hub blade may stop working. When this component is no longer functioning, a replacement part is required. If the oven isn't warming correctly, the hub blade assembly may be the issue.Replacing the hub blade assembly is a simple process. A screwdriver, socket set, adjustable wrench, and wrench set are required. Always disconnect appliances before replacing components. Wear gloves for safety. The hub blade assembly is located inside the oven. To access it, the back of the appliance has to be removed. Be sure all parts are replaced and secured before turning the device back on.This hub blade assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part. It is sourced directly from the manufacturer. The part is sold as an individual unit and made of high-quality, durable materials. The hub blade assembly can be installed in various models of ranges, wall ovens, and microwave oven combination appliances. It is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand devices.

Convection oven screeching noise when warming up Michael H. • Newtown , PA • October 13, 2019
The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen.
We replaced the motor and the fan blade.
1. Turn off power to the oven.
2. Remove the oven doors
3. Remove the cover for the fan.
4. Turn the fan blade nut clockwise to loosen( it's opposite of normal) - Save the nut and the small clip that is behind the fan as you'll need them again.
5. Remove the screws that hold oven to the kitchen cabinet frame.
6. Slide oven out of kitchen cabinet and place on the floor - it takes 2...

This planetary drip ring fits around a stand mixer's planetary assembly to cover the gap below the gearcase and help catch grease residue, restoring a clean, finished look where the beater hub meets the mixer head.
- Mounts at the base of the mixer head around the planetary housing
- Helps deflect incidental gearbox grease residue away from the bowl area
- Covers the seam between housing and planetary for a clean, finished appearance
- Replace if bent, cracked, loose, missing, or if you notice grease spotting beneath the planetary
What's included: One planetary drip ring. Install notes:
- Unplug the mixer and remove the bowl and attachments
- Gently pry off the old ring; clean the seating surface of debris or residue
- Align and press the new ring evenly until fully seated; avoid deforming the ring or striking the gearcase
- On some models, access may require lowering/removing the planetary
Note: This ring is a trim/deflector piece and not a fluid seal. Persistent oil leakage indicates separate gearcase service.

Worm gear failure on my KitchenAid 5 qt "professional" lift bowl mixer. Edward B. • Mount Horeb , WI • January 24, 2020
This was a problem that I'd had previously with this mixer. The worm gear, which is designed to fail (so that more serious damage does not occur to the motor), did fail while I was mixing some multi-grain bread dough. After the previous failure (pre-youtube days), I took the machine in for repair. The repair-shop cost came to about $150 in labor. Parts were extra. This time, I decided to do the repair myself, since I figured that I knew what was wrong. I found the appliancepartspros...

Top spray arm not spinning in lg dishwasher Mark F. • San Carlos , CA • February 02, 2020
I replaced the upper nozzle guide, nozzle shaft and upper spray arm. I also replaced the pump gasket for good measure.
Top rack dishes had not been cleaning properly. I first removed the filter assembly to inspect the main pump from above. It was clogged but after cleaning and reassembly I observed that while middle and bottom spray arms were changing position, the upper spray arm was not. I confirmed that water was flowing through the upper spray arm by placing some empty yogurt pots on a...

Replaced the top bearing assembly, drive belt, and blower wheel.
The most time consuming and difficult part was putting the new drive belt back on the pulley and tensioner. Be sure to know how it is routed through them. It is a very tight fit getting your arm in there and connecting it blindly.

Very easy fix. Turned of power at breaker. Removed oven door by lowering two "keepers" on the hinges for the oven door and sliding the door out of the oven. Removed the trim plate at bottom of oven by pushing it up.. Removed 2 screws that mount to the frame of the cabinet at the bottom that the trim plate hangs from. Planetary was damaged when one screw came lose and was shaved to bits Tom A. • Allentown , PA • November 09, 2014
Removed the old planetary and cleaned metal shavings from gears. Transferred the old axle/gear assembly onto the new planetary. Inserted the new (and expensive) screw for the main gear and torqued it very tight (as well as the original other four screws). Slid the new planetary gears together and re-inserted the holding pin. Tapped on the cover ring and was done.
