Shelf Support Stud Parts

I originally ordered this part from the KitchenAid website because I assumed I needed to buy the part directly from them since they manufactured my dishwasher. Five minutes after ordering the part from them, I went on Youtube to see if there was a video instructing on the installation of the upper dishrack wheel since I wanted to make sure I installed it correctly. Cleaned off the oil or grease that somehow was all over the drive belt. Installed new drive belt. Installed 2 new left (blue) and 2 new right (red) rod and spring assembly. This fixed the out of balance issue during spin cycle. Read more

The Dryer is 10 years old GE Front Load DPVH890JEMG. The drum would intermittently not rotate at the beginning of a cycle and occasionally would rotate but then start and stop throughout the cycle. I read through the issues related to my problems. I purchased both parts so if one was fixed then the other still needed to be fixed I would have the part. I watched both videos for replacing the parts which made things so much easier. I will say prying in the front clips was the biggest issue out of the whole repair. I watched a video on how to change these. I had ordered one a month ago because one had failed. I had no trouble --less than 30 seconds -- to insert a new for the bad one. Then a few weeks later, a 2nd one failed -- there are 4 of them -- and I figured that I might as well change out the bad one as well as the two "good" original ones. Ordered the springs and shocks. Noticed that the washer had placement for 4 springs, but the factory only installs 2 (or they forgot to install the other two on my machine). If you replace the springs, be sure to check for the spring bracket mount. You will also need those. The washer is running fine. Next I'll work on the dryer. Read more

Replaced the Rollers, Pins, belt and belt tensioner. One thing to keep in mind. In the video it was said that the back and front roller pins were different by lengths. They were the same length for my model. The differences were found to be the rear pins have left handed threads and the front ones were standard right hand threads. Keep that in-mind when you are trying to remove them. Read more
