When refrigerator would go into defrost it would trip breaker John M. • Fort Myers , FL • November 01, 2020
I replaced the defrost thermostat and the defrost timer. That corrected the problem. Be careful when ordering your parts. I put in my model# and they gave me a defrost timer that was incorrect. I had to return at my cost and order the correct one. Don't assume because you put in your model# that the part is correct. On each part there is a box to put in your model# to check to see if it fits your model. Don't assume that because you put your model# in before that it fits. If not sure, call them...

The timer switch came detached from the bracket and the dial slot slipped out of the shaft until i saw the repair video i did not know about the clip that locks the dial to the shaft Jeffery B. • Donalsonville , GA • September 04, 2015
I removed the dial knob and plate as instructed by the video, removed the front panel of the washer to access the switch. I found the plastic molded bracket that the timer rests on to be broken and the tab on the timer where it is attached by a screw to be broken. I ordered a replacement switch, dial and knob. When it arrived I replaced the parts as instructed, but I had to use super glue to hold the new switch in place due to the support tab on the washer panel being broken off. After letting...

Error Code F12 John I. • Gaithersburg , MD • March 14, 2014
The glue behind the keypad loosened and the keypad slowly began slipping down out of place over several months. Finally, because of the movement, it warped which resulted in one of the keys being stuck. That is what gave the F12 error code. The fix was easy. I removed the control panel and then peeled off the keypad. The keypad itself then has two layers (1), the flexible circuit panel, and (2) the outward facing display. I separated the display from the circuit panel and put the new one...

Facia plate pulling away from dishwasher door Michael S. • Hampton Falls , NH • April 13, 2014
After 4 years of heavy use nearly all of the facia assembly's plastic attachment tabs were broken. This caused the facia to pull away from the door while trying to open the dishwasher. I ordered a replacement facia from appliancepartspro.com ($52 with shipping, part arrive in one day!) and installed it in about 30 minutes.
The job would have gone quicker had I not transferred the 6 button covers from the old facia to the new in random order. It turns out each button has a unique depth, and...

Lg refrigerator front plate assembly broke where spring attaches Scott C. • Round Rock , TX • June 07, 2016
I searched online and easily found the best price for the Front Plate Assembly to be AppliancePartsPros.com. Even though I didn't pay for two day shipping, the part was shipped the next day and received the following day (Saturday), outstanding service.
Installing the piece was quite simple, requiring removing two screws, slipping the old part off of two retaining clips and disconnecting one wire connector. Reverse this to install new part.

Kitchen Aid range. The bake and broil burners would not ignite. Johnathon M. • Olympia , WA • January 05, 2022
I purchased a new igniter for the bake assembly and found that it, unfortunately, did not resolve my problem. I measured the resistance of the different points on the gas valve and it was reading within spec so I then purchased this spark module and it did the trick.
My gas range is a Kitchenaid kgsk901sss02. I had a LOT of trouble finding where the spark module is located, and eventually found a schematic that shows it's location behind the front control panel of the oven.
Upon taking the...
