Purchasing an after market adaptor from lowe's from china that had been manufactured with bad threads Robert S. • St. Augustine , FL • April 12, 2016
Found the correct USA made OEM part from Appliance Pros, and installed it on my new Dishwasher. The use of this correctly manufactured Adapter prevented any damage to the threads of the dishwashers inlet solenoid valve which is made of a plastic material.
If I had forced the after market adapter onto the solenoid valve instead of ordering the OEM adapter; it would have ruined the threads on the plastic solenoid valve resulting in the need to purchase a very expensive replacement valve. ...

Maytag gas dryer was not heating Christopher P. • Los Angeles , CA • October 04, 2014
Did some dryer repair research (dryer not heating) on the internet. Bought an ohm meter, opened up the dryer and tested the cut-off-T, high limit thermostat, dryer igniter, flame sensor, cycling thermostat for continuity. The igniter was bad, the other parts tested ok. Went online to AppliancePartsPros.com searched for a new igniter for my specific dryer model, found the right replacement igniter and watched the video on how to replace the igniter. Because my dryer is old (15+ years) and I...

Kenmore front load washer le error code Cindy K. • Tomball , TX • July 11, 2015
I was having trouble with my Kenmore Front Load washer. It wouldn't finish the wash cycle...it kept displaying an LE Error code. After I went to Google to help diagnose the problem, which was a bad RPS Sensor, I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. It literally took about 15-20 mins and with the help of my son-in-law, my washing machine was fixed!!
It was going to cost me $85.00 for the Sears repairman to walk in my door, not including parts and labor, and I only paid $27.00...

F9 error code oven is on but times out because it will not heat up Steven W. • Franksville , WI • May 08, 2015
Looked online. Others said to start with the thermostat because its cheap and easy to fix, so I did. The thermostat is located at the rear of the oven on the back. You need to remove a total of 3 panels to get to it. Do not confuse it with the thermal sensor at the rear of the oven on top. My thermostat was clearly deformed, and I had never run a self clean like other with testify to. Simply replace it - easy. Oven worked like new.

Open thermal fuse on whirlpool wall double oven Lon F. • Jacksonville , FL • May 23, 2015
Replaced fuse. It took much longer to get the oven out of the wall to access the fuse and replace the front panel than to do the repair. This fuse failed at the end of the cleaning cycle for the bottom oven and left the door locked because the open fuse removed the 120v power from the control board. The locked door made it impossible to remove one of the screws holding the wall oven in place. However, after I ground off the head of the screw behind the edge of the locked door I was able to...
