The Vent Blower Assembly is an OEM part for Frigidaire dishwashers. It is designed to help ventilate the dishwasher by expelling hot, moist air from the interior after the washing cycle.
You should replace the vent blower assembly if it becomes faulty. Causes of a bad vent blower assembly can include regular wear and tear, blockages from debris, or electrical issues. A malfunctioning vent blower can lead to poor drying performance and excessive moisture inside the dishwasher.
Symptoms of a bad vent blower assembly include:
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
I had an appliance repair guy come and he told me it was possibly the vent assembly but if changing it didn't fix the problem it would be the control board next. He felt it was not worth the money to repair because he would have to disconnect everything just to get to the vent on the right rear top of the dishwasher. When i took the DW out thinking i had to buy a new one i saw this part was stuck open and covered in limescale deposits and grime.I ordered the part from appliance pros and payed... Read more
Replaces the vacuum break inlet hose connecting the water inlet to your washer tub. Needed when original hose is cracked, burst, leaking, or damaged.
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Replaces a cracked, leaking, or broken injector hose assembly in top-load washers. Directs water into the tub during fill cycles. Easy DIY repair.
I noticed a lot of water on the floor one day. I had no idea where it came from (all pipes in the area near the stationary tub were dry, there was a small wet spot near the washer, but most of the water was more than 2ft from it). Started a small load and noticed water running down the outside of the unit. Immediately stopped the cycle and removed the front of the washer. Restarted the cycle and could see water spraying from the intake hose. Stopped the cycle and advanced it to spin to... Read more
Exhaust damper for microwave venting systems. Installs on rear exhaust to regulate airflow. Replace if cracked, broken, missing, or not sealing properly.
Connects the washer tub to the drain pump for water drainage. Replace if cracked, leaking, or split. Installs between the tub outlet and pump inlet.
I replaced the hose between the tub and the pump. The clamp screws were quite rusted but I used a socket wrench on them since they have hex heads in addition to the screwdriver slot. If I had tried to use a screwdriver, I think it would have been difficult. I did not reuse the original clamps but replaced them with hardware store hose clamps. Read more

Internal drain hose routes water from the washer tub to the external drain. Replace if cracked, leaking, or damaged from constant use or obstructions.
I had previously replaced the transmission in my two year old Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. Overall it was in good shape but gets heavy use. That repair was approximately $200 and worked for several months. Recently it began leaking. At first I thought it was the tub-to-shaft seal. I replaced this part but it was still leaking. It turns out it was the simplest of things... The drain hose was not connected very well! I replaced the drain hose ($11 part) and while I was at it I... Read more
Drain pump inlet hose for top-load washers. Connects the tub to the pump assembly. Replace if cracked, leaking, or has holes causing water on the floor.
The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Putting the new parts on was an easy 5 minute job. Read more
Replacement drain hose for washing machines. Connects the drum to the drain outlet. Replace if cracked, split, leaking, or worn from rubbing against shocks.
Prior to ordering parts I had pulled the pump strainer basket and cleaned it out. There was both soft and hard scale build up. The tub-to-pump hose was also pretty crusty/slimey. Still got warnings for SUDS and repeated F02 errors. Ordered parts and replaced the pump, tub-to-pump hose, interior drain hose and exterior drain hose (both hoses has some slime build up). The water standing in the tub when I emptied it the first time had very little suds but we kept getting the SUDS warning. ... Read more

Drain hose routes wastewater from your washer tub to household plumbing. Replace if cracked, leaking, worn through, or damaged from wear or friction.
I searched YouTube and found several videos that helped me diagnose the most probable cause. I learned how to open the cabinet and access the parts from the videos. I ordered a new discharge hose and a replacement pump. The parts came in the next day with the standard shipping option! It turned out that the old discharge hose was blocked. I decided to replace the pump also since I had the machine open and the new pump was only $22. It's amazing what you can learn online! Read more
