This replacement switch restores reliable on/off signaling to the circuit it controls, helping your appliance start, stop, and respond correctly. A worn switch can cause intermittent operation, no response, or lights and functions that don't activate. What it does:
- Provides an electrical open/closed signal to enable functions like starting a cycle, powering a motor or light, or shutting a feature off
- Acts as a safety/position interlock (such as door, lid, float, or hood) depending on the model
- Typical symptoms include won't start, won't stop, light won't turn on/off, or intermittent operation
- Can be checked with a multimeter for continuity when actuated
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; turn off gas or water supply if applicable
- Access the switch, note wire locations, and transfer leads one at a time to the new switch
- Mount securely, ensure the actuator aligns and wires aren't pinched
- Reassemble and test operation before finalizing

Genuine Lg part

Part Number: 6323EL2001C
This NTC thermistor is the dryer's temperature sensor. It monitors exhaust air temperature and signals the control to cycle the heat, restoring accurate drying performance and helping prevent overheating, underheating, and inconsistent results.
- Monitors exhaust air temperature by changing resistance as heat rises (NTC behavior)
- Sends temperature feedback to the control to regulate the heater or gas valve
- Failure can cause no heat, overheating, or erratic temperatures
- May lead to long dry times, short cycles, or temperature-related error codes
What's included: 1 thermistor Install notes:
- Disconnect power and, for gas models, shut off the gas supply before servicing
- Access the sensor on the blower housing or exhaust duct; location varies by model
- Note wire routing; unplug the harness connector; remove the mounting fastener/clip; install the new sensor fully seated and reconnect
- Reassemble, restore power, and run a test cycle; check and clean venting to ensure proper airflow

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
The handle was bent so the latch kept locking the oven door regardless of handle position Matthew H. • Kirkland , WA • January 08, 2016
I replaced the latch and handle assembly. It's easy when you see how it goes together. Unscrew the two screws under the front edge of the stovetop, have a helper lift the stovetop up, unscrew the six screws holding the metal plate down and remove the plate, unplug the wires connected to the latch switch, and unscrew the two front screws holding the latch assembly in place. Replace the latch assembly and put it back together in reverse.

I accidentally stepped on the door of my Samsung dryer. The door is intact but brackets bent. Margaret C. • Tampa , FL • June 07, 2018
I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year...

Dryer was not heating Donna G. • Warsaw , MO • August 02, 2014
The first part we ordered was the heating element. The dryer still wasn't heating so we ordered the thermostat. We received the thermostat, and got it put in the dryer still wasn't heating so I consulted my dryer manual and found out that even though there was electric to the dryer it still might not heat if the breaker was not all the way on, so I reset the breaker and voilà had heat. Working very well now.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
Broken handle end cap on bosch diswasher Thomas R. • Oak Island , NC • July 20, 2015
One end cap was broken but I ordered 2 since the shipping was the same price. I replaced both by removing the Tork screws on both sides of the door panel (one side at a time). There was a bolt on the inside panel of the door that secured the end cap. I replaced the end cap and tightened the bolt moderately so as to not crack the plastic end cap. Total job was 30 mins replacing both end caps and including figuring out how to get to them.
NOTE - be careful to not open the door panel sections...
