Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Dishwasher would not fill with water   Robert N. • Susanville , CA • January 09, 2016

I took the inlet valve apart, found it was clogged with sediment, so I cleaned it and reinstalled it. Water was still not filing, so I figured the valve was sticking. I ordered a new valve, because $30 was a lot cheaper than a new dishwasher. I took out the old valve with two screws, and disconnected the supply line, the brass elbow, one hose, and a wiring harness. I reattached it in the same place, re-using the all the other parts, and once I turned the power and water back on, it worked as... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Odor in dishwasher stuck valve in vertical tube replace check valve   Victor F. • Durham , NC • December 26, 2014

The odor in the dishwasher was due to scum buildup in the walls, the racks, and in the lower part of the drain below the lower rotating arm. One of the valves in the vertical tube was stuck in the open position; since the valves cannot be replaced, the entire tube needed replacement. The check valve probably needed no replacement, but once I opened the bottom part, I decided to replace it anyway. I used this Youtube video to replace the tube, open and clean the drainage part of the washer: ... Read more

Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Would not drain with flashing quick light   Kevin N. • Lake Worth , FL • June 21, 2018

Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Low water pressure from water dispenser following filter change   Paul C. • Riverview , FL • May 26, 2014

Every six months I change my refrigerator filter. I purchased a new filter (UKF8001) and installed it just like I've done many times before. This time, when I first used the water dispenser, I got a horrible sound (kind of like a jack hammer/vibration) followed by very little water flow.
