I ordered a new soap dispenser and began a new venture in repairing my dishwasher. I turned off the breaker that suppled power to the unit. I removed all the T-15 torx screws from the inside cover except one, which my wife helped me hold in. This prevents the cover from dropping off. Then, after removing those two, we closed the dishwasher cover, and lifted off the outside cover. That being off, I saw the two wires connecting the dishwasher dispenser solinoid. Removed them. Removed and replaced 3 door switches and mounting bar that holds switches plastic gets brittle with age and each switch comes out slightly different from each other, the chances of breaking a mounting pin is very easy. care should be taken when snapping mounting bar back into place to insure top latch and bottom latch locate properly insure bar is proper aligned when tightening screws their is free play in mounting bracket that could affect door properly engaging switches. The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. As a homeowner, I love that I can just type my model number into Appliance Parts Pros website and find a listing/diagram of the entire unit. Bought the replacement dispenser from APPros.com (of course). The video shows a front control panel, and our dishwasher has the 'hidden' control panel on the top of the door. So here's the difference: 1) You need to take out all the screws, except the two near the latch at the top. The other video shows only taking out the bottom six screws because the remainder of the screws hold the front control panel. Got the model number off the dryer. Looked it up online. I wanted name brand replacement part. Found this wonderful AppliancePartsPros.com. Looked up my model number, went to top control panel section, ordered the Start Switch. In ONE DAY I received it. Removed the back part of my dryer. Easily removed the broken part. I am so blessed. I went online. Found the brackets. Watch the video for the brackets I chose. And lucky me. I did not have to pull the dishwasher out. The installer did not have it flush under the counter. So I was able to pull the dishwasher forward unhook the damage brackets and insert the new. Put the dishwasher back in. Two screws. Now the balanced and secure dishwasher washes better than ever and I did not have to pay an extraordinary fee for a repairman. I'm 68 and take care of a 72 year... Read more

I replaced the part by popping off the plastic frame and removing several easily-accessable screws. Three small electrical plugs had to be popped off too. It was a very simple repair. The Sears guy wanted $395 total for the repair, and I did it myself for the price of the part on this site (around $90). Very pleased! Read more

• Will not fill with water

After watching the YouTube video provided by Appliancepartspros and checking various forums I determined the dispenser motor had gone out. Turns out, it was a two part problem. The connectors to the motor, and the motor had corroded. Cleaned them both with vinegar. The old motor did a load before I started having problems with the CCU. I didn't learn about the CCU needing a reset under the quick diagnostics until after replacing the motor and the new part doing the same thing. Both the new... Read more
