Ordered valves and new ice maker. Couple sites mentioned problem could be ice in the waterline and to make sure temps be set to 37 in frig and 0 in freezer. I had adjusted temps to these the day I ordered parts. Parts arrived a couple of days later so I opened up the ice maker and found the ice bin to be full! Guess the temp adjustment worked. I replaced the filter cartridge that is located underneath the lower spray arm. The original filter cartridge had become completely blinded off, the filter media is a very fine mesh nylon fabric and it gets clogged up eventually with hard water scale and other non-soluble materials (including dishwasher detergent). Our Maytag gas clothes dryer was not drying like it should/used to and was making a lot of noise. After researching online I figured the vent was partially blocked and/or the blower wheel was bad. When I took it apart, the vent had very little lint in the lower elbow exiting the back of the dryer but the blower wheel was loose on the shaft and was missing the clamp. Initially I noticed the crusher drum was cracked and broken so I replaced the drum the retaining nut on the end of the auger and the circlip and washer. it worked fine for a time and then the drum began free wheeling. upon further inspection I discovered the retain nubs on the auger had worn down allowing the blade to slip down the auger body. so I replaced the auger, drum, drive blade, and drive cam. Disassembled dryer. Installed new belt, drum rollers, idler arm and blower. Read more

I removed the front panel of the dryer and the metal cover over the blower wheel. Removed the lock ring and clamp. Removed the old wheel and placed the new wheel on the shaft. I thoroughly cleaned all the lint around the area and inside the front cover. I resealed the metal cover over the blower and reinstalled the front cover. Dryer works great. Easy fix, I spent more time thoroughly cleaning all the lint. Read more
