Ordered the gasket first from Sears, but they sent me the wrong part, i.e. on the drawing on their web site the part was right (ADX73550621 - Refrigerator Door Gasket, Left), but when I received it - it was too small and didn't fit. Our 19 year old Whirlpool dryer quit heating. After checking the thermal fuse, I found the ignitor electrically open. First I watched videos about squeaking Kenmore dryers. I bought the door and bottom seal and was already to go. Appliance Pro got the parts to me in 2 days. I read an article that said if the spray arm holes are blocked that this could cause a wave in the dishwasher that could cause the water to fly up to the inlet used for drying and the water could run down between the front and inside door appearing to be a leak. Did some online research and everything pointed to the fact that moisture was getting into the freezer and therefore the seal was not doing it's job. I ran my finger along the seal and sure enough I detected cold air coming out of one corner of the seal. This time I replaced the front and rear bearings and thrust bearing and all the gears. The hardest part is thoroughly cleaning out all the old grease. After re-greasing and assembly mixer ran like new. I wish a more robust worm gear was available. A snap ring plier is a must for this job. Read more

I figured it was the valve, but searching on the Appliance Parts site, somebody said they fixed it by replacing the switch flood assembly. So I order both parts. The Switch Flood Assembly was easiest to replace, so I decided to try that first. When I pulled out the old assembly, I noticed it did not 'rattle', as the new one did. I followed the very well made repair video for this particular part. The total time it took for the repair was under 20 minutes. But I have a suggestion for the repair video and that is to emphasize that when reinstalling boot. Have the tachnician point out that there are drain holes in the boot that need to be situated and reattached toward the bottom of the washer chassis.
