The clothes dryer heater wasn't heating Craig M. • Rockledge , FL • March 21, 2015
I replaced the heating element supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com. It took me longer than the estimated 30 minutes to an hour cited in the good instructional video. A few things took more time than I had expected:
1. Removing the top of the dryer unit resulted in my breaking off the three plastic tabs that is used to anchor the top to the structure below. In putting it back together, I didn't need those three tabs as the side plastic structure on each side will secure the top to the...

Lower baking element was broken James W. • Rochester , NY • March 14, 2014
My oven element "melted away" on a Saturday evening. I couldn't find any parts locally on Sunday so that left me until Monday with no oven. On Monday, I had the option of buying one locally for $70+ dollars or go online. I've dealt with AppliancePartsPros before and they've always delivered so I took the chance and put an order in. I had the part Tuesday afternoon without driving anywhere and for only $54... in less than 30 hours after I ordered it! WOW! It took almost no time to install...

We watched the Video from Appliance Parts Pros of how to repair our dryer and literally had it fixed in about the same amount of time as it took to watch the video. Taking the dryer apart is typically what would scare one away from a self repair...but it was explained in detail and actually was super easy to fix. What a wonderful company!! Self fixed and saved us from having to wait for a repair man and we didn't have any repair bill....except for the part...but even that was at a very...

Large dual burner Frederick E. • Athens , AL • September 19, 2014
Stove is a GE Adora Model JBP63HH2bb. It took me forever to figure out how the burner was attached to the rails.
My glass top was different than any instructions found on the internet for changing out a burner. The burners on this one are held to the bottom of the glass cook top by two rails that cross the bottom of the burner assemblies. In order to get too the burners you must remove 4 Phillips screws to lower the rails and burners from the cooktop. I suggest two people do this because...

My maytag dryer was not heating the element was fried Karl S. • Carbondale , IL • April 27, 2015
I had to pop the lid up from the front with a screw driver, and behind the element was a metal piece, a heat shield, that had two screws that had to be removed from the back. The little part with the blue round tag (part of the kit that came with the element) was easily removed with one screw. Likewise, the element had a single longer screw holding it in on the right, and on the left a little rod was sticking through a hole in the metal, and you can merely move it to the side and up the slot,...

Oven element burned out George P. • Northampton , PA • February 06, 2015
First I removed the (3) wire shelves. Removed the bottom cover by removing the (2) screws in the back. This exposed the oven element. Removed the (2) screws holding the mounting bracket on the front of the element then removed the (2) screws on the silver bracket that holds the back of the element. I carefully pulled the element forward which pulls it out of the back of the oven. I pulled slightly on the (2) wires attached to the element in order to get a small amount of slack to remove them...

I ordered the recommended Infinite Heat Switch Kit and Element Receptacle and Wire Kit and installed them. The latter was a breeze, appearing to be exactly the same as the original, except for the wire color. The switch, though, was another story. The most obvious difference between this switch and the original (besides its comparatively small size) is the long, segmented...
