Elbow Hose And Clamps Kit
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WD24X33918

The Elbow Hose and Clamps Kit is an OEM replacement part for GE dishwashers. This kit includes an elbow-shaped hose and the necessary clamps to secure it in place. It is designed to connect components in the dishwasher's water drainage or inlet system, ensuring a secure and leak-free flow of water during operation.

Over time, hoses can degrade due to exposure to heat, water pressure, and detergents. Clamps may also lose their grip or become corroded, leading to leaks or improper connections. Replacing the elbow hose and clamps restores the appliance's functionality and prevents water damage.

Symptoms of a bad elbow hose or clamps include:

  • Water leaking from the dishwasher during operation
  • Error codes related to water flow or drainage issues
  • Reduced water pressure or improper draining
  • Visible cracks, wear, or corrosion on the hose or clamps

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Water leaking from under/behind fridge (two sources) three problems a comedy of errors   Joanne R. • Brookfield , WI • November 09, 2015

We noticed a puddle of water in front of the fridge a couple of months ago-dried the floor up both times and thought someone had dropped ice-or spilled water. A couple of weeks ago there was water dripping through the dropped tile ceiling in the basement. I shut off the water for the water supply to the fridge at the copper pipe in the basement and removed some of the tiles which felt a little damp. It still dripped all day. When my spouse came home he pulled down more of the tiles. It was as... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Washer displayed error code and would not drain properly or complete a wash cycle   Daniel D. • South Jordan , UT • October 06, 2014

I looked up the error code on the internet and determined that the drain pump had failed. I watched the Appliance Parts Pros repair video on how to replace this part, ordered a new pump and installed it myself in less than 30 minutes. This was an easy job that saved me the price of a service call, at least one hour of labor, and perhaps a markup on the part--probably around $200.00 total. Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Water spraying from filter supply line in back of refrigerator   Marcus E. • Spanaway , WA • February 03, 2015

First, water and electricity don't mix, so make sure to unplug your refrigerator before beginning this repair - it shouldn't take more than an hour, so you shouldn't have to worry about spoilage. My water dispenser began making a hissing sound from the back of the fridge when you pressed the dispenser. Upon inspection, I discovered the 1/4" feed line into the filter housing assembly had cracked. I ordered the 1/4" feed and 5/16" return lines, figuring to replace the return line while I was back...
