I looked up the error code on the internet and determined that the drain pump had failed. This was an easy job that saved me the price of a service call, at least one hour of labor, and perhaps a markup on the part--probably around $200.00 total. Unscrewed console and tilted it back. Then removed clips for machine skin. Rocked it back slightly to access the tub side hose. Removed water inlet valve assembly and removed from the valve. Fished out the old hose. Fished in new hose. Reattched it then reassembled unit. Spent 15 min looking for clip I lost on NASTY FLOOR AAAAAARGH! • Will not stop filling with water

I replaced the water level switch and hose. After removing the hose, I found that it was clogged, and did not allow the water level to be sensed by the switch. A test after the replacement of the parts was successful. While filling the tub, the water shut off at the small, medium, and large levels as indicated by the switch. Read more

I noticed when we would run washer water would stay in tub. Pump would hum but not pump water out. Layed washer on its belly . Pump was at bottom of washer. Easy access . Removed 3 screws,2 wires , & 2 hose clamps. Didn't have to call Maytag Repair man. Easy Read more

Replaced pump. All components are accessible from the front of the machine. You have to remove two screws in the back that hold on the top cover, then slide the cover back. This will allow access to the screws that hold on the control panel. Ordered replacement drain hose, left hand panel of dishwasher removed (remove 2 screws in front left trim panel & friction fit clip at top back then slide up & off. This reveals the O-ring drain hose connection point. You need to remove the retainer block where the hose exits the appliance. Old hose pulls out and new hose pushes in. I had an appliance repair guy come and he told me it was possibly the vent assembly but if changing it didn't fix the problem it would be the control board next. He felt it was not worth the money to repair because he would have to disconnect everything just to get to the vent on the right rear top of the dishwasher. Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. The hardest part was getting on my knees to do the repair/replacement. It was obvious debris wasn't being filtered out when the water was recirculated. I noticed the accumulator wasn't seating right and found the plastic clips on the backside were bent and worn. The new part came within a day and a half. Everything either unscrewed and snapped together with no tools. You may want to use a flat screwdriver to take the upper arm tube feed loose from its clips but it can be done by hand. Done...
