A very common problem with the GE oven is the dreaded F7 error code. I purchased the control board as well as the keypad and replaced both. The error code could have been either part but since I saw a lot of grease, I chose to change out both even though I isolated the problem to the keypad only. By resetting the error first by hitting the clock button on the keypad, turning off the power,disconnecting the keypad, then turning back on the power if the code doesn't come back it's the keypad. ... • Touchpad does not respond

I ORDERED A NEW CONTROLLER BOARD. THE DIRECTIONS SHOWED HOW TO UNCLIP THE OLD BOARD BUT THE FASTENERS WERE ON THE LEFT SIDE NOT THE BOTTOM AS INDICATED ON THE REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS. AFTER REASSEMBLY THE DISHWASHER FUNCTIONED AS NEW. THNKS FOR THE INSIGHT. Read more

My dishwasher just stopped working one day. I know my way around tools but wouldn’t call myself a “handyman“. Ordered a new Oven Control unit and an Overlay (ours was punctured in a few places -- old and brittle). Opened the stovetop and removed some screws from the front control panel area.
