• Door sweating

My co-worker bought a house to flip and gave me the refrigerator. I'd been looking for a garage refrigerator to store water, cola, etc in. Fridge was essentially fine but I sanded and painted one side which had rust spots. Turned out like new. The door seal was moldy and didn't seal properly. I took the cover off the transmission and determined that the only possible knocking had to be coming from the yoke. I ordered a new yoke and all the tub seals needed to put it back together like new. I also ordered a new drive pulley bearing because this bearing is always turning whenever the washer is used. Bought this door gasket and watched the video, very easy if you just take your time and start in one corner and go to the opposite corner. this way it stretches the seal completely into each corner. do as the video says and it will go great. Read more

I took the new seal out of it's packaging and used a blowdryer on low heat to soften up the seal so that the crease from shipping (it was folded to ship) disappeared. Next I took the refrigerator door off, removed the old seal, & cleaned the area where the new seal would be applied. • Takes too long to dry

Get some acetone at a Hardware Store before you start. A pint will do. Unplug the dryer from 110 VAC. Pull the top off of the dryer, by lifting it from the front first. It is attached with snap metal fittings. Do not completely remove the top, just tip upright to gain access to the front interior of the dryer. The homeowner kept getting AE flood code on a 2 yr old LG dishwasher. Changed the gasket at the bottom of the door. ordered the $25 part AP 6236867 and the door seal AP6981193 ($22) for a complete job. Ordered replacement door seals, assistance picking the seals and speed of shipping was excellent. The installation was about as easy a job as can be, remove old seals, clean the doors and press in the new seals. With that said, I don't believe these are the same quality as factory original seals, the doors do not close as positive as the original and I have an air leak in the freezer door seal allowing condensation and ice to form. The new gasket arrived in a box half the size of the gasket so the gasket was folded to fit into the box. I hung the new gasket up for a couple of hours and then just prior to installation used a hair dryer as per included instructions to soften the gasket and minimize minor wrinkles in the gasket. The old gasket came out easily and the new went in easily. A 5 minute job in total. Read more
