Lower dishrack wheel assembly for dishwashers. Includes mounting bracket and wheels. Replace when wheels are broken, cracked, or rack won't roll smoothly.
I ordered 4 of this part from AppliancePartsPros.com and watched the repair video of the product. This was a simple repair that took 10 minutes to replace all 4 wheel units on the bottom rack. Product is exact match to the part I replaced. Read more
Dishes not drying or clean light blinking? This heating element heats water for sanitizing and drying. Moderate DIY repair, 20-60 minutes with video guide.
My Whirlpool dishwasher (wdf520padm3) started leaving food on dishes and not drying dishes as well as it used to, even when I ran the 'high temp' and 'heavy' cleaning options. This started happening after about 3 years of operation. To try to diagnose the issue, I started the diagnostics cycle (see below for instructions on how to do this). However, the 'Clean' LED is also not working on my dishwasher, so I was unable to read the error code after the service cycle finished. I decided to... Read more
Replaces cracked, broken, or missing dishwasher rack stop clips. Secures upper or lower dishrack to track rail, preventing rack from sliding out too far.
My discharge would not empty after a wash cycle and I always had gross gray water left in the bottom approx 3" deep? After doing the obvious things of checking the simp for garbage, and checking that the discharge hose wasn't blocked, I removed my discharge pump ( not too hard to do) and tested. My pump which did run and turn the impeller. However, the pump evidently had weakened with time and weakened and could no longer pump the waste water up hill to the "T" connection under the sink. Replaces broken or worn dishwasher upper rack adjuster assembly. Includes wheels and mounting hardware for smooth rack adjustment and gliding action.
I replaced the adjusters on both sides (since two rollers broke off on one and one broke off on the other). Replacement was easy, just remember to keep the clips from the original adjusters. Take the clips off, remove the adjuster, replace with the new adjuster, and replace the clips. The new adjuster comes with the rollers already attached so no need to keep the ones from when plastic axle broke on the original adjusters. Read more
Replaces broken, cracked, or melted dishwasher spray arm. Rotates to distribute water during wash cycles. Snaps onto base assembly for quick installation.
I took the bottom access cover off, and checked underneath the unit to isolate where it was leaking from. Cleaned the cover, and the spot where the leak happened was marked for me. The front, far left hand side, behind the door. Ran a quick rinse cycle with a pan under the spot to verify it was there. It was. Then I did an internet search and found your website. Our dishwasher, bought in November of 2016, was listed, and several of the reviewers said wonderful things about their experiences... Read more

I've opened sump housing to check for clogging but it was clean. When I removed check valve to inspect it I've found out that the round part of the valve was missing so I figured it might've blocked the water exit at drain hose or something like that. So I pulled the dishwasher out to get a full access to drain hose connector and the pump. Upon disconnecting the drain and checking its connector I indeed found the round piece totally blocking the hose and acting as a seal. I removed the piece... Read more

Dishwasher not filling with water? A faulty water inlet valve is often the cause. This valve controls water flow into your dishwasher. DIY-friendly repair.
As mentioned, our Whirlpool Dishwasher would complete the cycle but Tablet pretty much sat in the Soap Dispenser Box nor there was any sign of water inside the Dishwasher. This happened 2 - 3 times. Hence decided to dive into what the fix was. After reviewing a bunch of Youtube Videos, understood first how a typical Dishwasher operates and what are the basic checks it does before water is let inside. So it typically first checks whether Door S/w got activated, followed by Float Switch... Read more

Clips onto the upper dishrack to hold the height adjuster assembly in place for balanced operation. Replace if cracked, broken, or missing.
I bumped into my KitchenAid dishwasher and the upper rack adjuster cracked. There was already a crack on the notch of the housing where the handle (lever) sits. In addition, the positioner popped out and I couldn't find it. So, I bought the three parts from AppliancePartsPros online. It arrived in about a week. The repair was fairly simple, but it still took about 45 minutes because I didn't want to crack the assemblies. For the housing, use a small slotted screwdriver to carefully... Read more

Dishwasher not cleaning or spray arms not moving? The circulation pump distributes water through the tub. Requires full dishwasher removal. Video available.
The water just sat in bottom of the tub, but the dishes never got wet. The water would drain out at the end of the cycle. I took a chance that it was the circulation pump and not the control panel since everything else seemed to be working. I replaced the circulation pump &motor and the problem was solved. The hardest part was getting the DW out of the cabinet since it was a very tight fit due to the floor tile. The job of replacing the part only took about 15~20 minutes thanks to the repair... Fix dishwasher leaking from the motor area with this motor to sump seal. Creates a watertight connection between pump and sump. Takes 10-20 minutes.
My dishwasher was leaking and I called to have a certified technician come to diagnose the problem. I removed the kick panel from the bottom of the machine. He turned it on and we saw that water was leaking from the bottom. He said I needed a Sump kit but it wasn't in stock. The cost was $170 plus tax and labor cost was another $140. So I talked it over with dad and ordered the Sump kit, the hose clamp and a new diverter motor as mine was yellowed with age. The cost of all these parts and... Read more
Replacement lower dishrack for dishwashers. Holds dishes, pots, and pans during wash cycles. Replace if cracked, rusted, or tines are broken or missing.
I ordered a replacement part from AppliancePartsPros.com, however the exact part for my Kitchen Aid dishwasher had been discontinued. There were two differences between the original and replacement part. First, the original rack had two adjustable tine rows, but the replacement only had one. I was only able to attache one of them to the new rack. This didn't present any issue other than having less flexibility in customizing the configuration for loading large items on the rack. The second... Read more
