My front loading washing machine would not drain. Meryl L. • Fort Thomas , AZ • October 26, 2020
So, Saturday, the washer wouldn't drain, yes, I tried the Drain/Spin cycle. So I took the clothes out, rinsed them out twice in the laundry sink and dried them. After a quick Google search, I came to the conclusion that the pump was bad and ordered a pump, $125.
Over the course of the next four days, expecting the new pump on Thursday, I baled out the washer, pulled it out from the wall and propped up the front (it's HEAVY), removed the front access panel, removed the drain inlet and outlet...

Standing water in the bottom of dishwasher after the load was finished. John W. • Sicklerville , NJ • July 14, 2017
I very seldom respond to requests for feedback like this but definitely feel moved to do so in this case. When our 8 year old dishwasher started acting up my initial reaction was to simply replace it. I wasn't sure what was wrong, nor if I would be able to find the right part once I did figure out the problem. The troubleshooting advice
on this website was spot on and I quickly figured out what needed to be replaced. The repair videos were easy to follow and the parts were here two days...

Washing machine wasn't draining properly and the drain pump sounded loud and whiny Chris S. • Boulder , CO • March 30, 2014
Replace the drain pump after watching a video demonstrating the process. The washing machine had run properly and emptied, so I was surprised how much water remained in the pipe after disconnecting the old pump. Plan on having 2-3 large towels underneath before removing it.
The most difficult part (and most irritating) was replacing the intake and outtake hoses with the existing spring clamps. The drain hose into the pump took almost twenty minutes to attach properly. If the hardware store was...

Washer drain hose split in half Will W. • Steele , AL • April 19, 2014
Our washer is next door the bathroom. So when, during the rinse cycle, the hose split and we found the back of the house completely flooded I initially assumed the culprit was either the toilet or the sink or possibly an interdimentional portal into a demonic netherworld of vaguely chlorine scented water. I spent the next hour mopping it all up and checking and re-checking the pipes in the bathroom with no apparent leaks. The next load of laundry left more clues as this time the flood was from...

This is a circulation pump motor for dishwashers. It controls the main pump of the appliance. The pump is directly responsible for removing extra water from the dishwasher after use. When a dishwasher's circulation pump motor goes bad, the main indicator is usually leaking from the appliance. There will be a noticeable amount of water emerging from the bottom of the machine whenever the cycle is engaged. Unplug the dishwasher from its main power source and water hookup. Remove the dishwasher from its space in the counter. Remove all necessary entry plates to access the interior of the dishwasher. There is a metal bracket holding the current motor in. Unscrew the two screws that secure the bracket and remove this component. Remember which way the motor is oriented before removing it. Unplug the power cable connecting the motor to the dishwasher. Put the two new sealing rings on the new pump motor. Repeat these instructions in reverse to install the new part. This Frigidaire dishwasher circulation pump motor is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from Frigidaire. The pump motor is sold individually. This part is compatible with Frigidaire, Kenmore, Westinghouse, and Gibson appliances.

Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day!
