Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Error code F10   Dan H. • Culver City , CA • December 27, 2019

Bought a used Frigidaire 36 inch stove. The broiler didn't come on but the burners lit and the stove worked so I made do for about 4 or 5 years with that. I was confused about what part to order. The parts list includes "Control Panel" and "Clock - Timer". Turns out the control panels are the glass panel on the front of the stove... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The bottom heating element wasn't working in top oven   Kevin Scott W. • Parker , CO • January 09, 2015

Before we replaced the board, my wife tried to replace just the element. We had one we had ordered several years ago when this same thing happened. When that didn't work we replaced the board and could see where the old board was damaged so we figured this was the solution. It would have been except the bottom element my wife used to replace the old element (which was fine but had been thrown out figuring the new one was new so why keep the old one) was 1" shorter in the back than the old... Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You The frigidaire microwave would blow fuses on a regular basis   Loren A. • Windsor , WI • November 28, 2020

After doing some research the problem appeared to be the door safety switches. I ordered 3 new ones to replace all the original ones. Some minor disassembly of the microwave front was required to reach the fuse and switches. To reach the switches the control panel wires needed to be unplugged and the panel removed. First, I took an ohm reading across the elements and determined the bad one, which was failed, open circuit. (Zero continuity) I then replaced the lower heating element of the upper oven.
