Replace your cracked, broken, or missing refrigerator door bin. Snaps into place on the door interior for storing condiments, jars, and bottles.
Maybe 6 or 7 years ago I had a fridge conk out on me just before Christmas. It was loaded with food for the holiday, including a prime rib roast that was the hope and dream of the holiday for every red-blooded non-vegan in the house. In order to save the day I bottom-dollared a Frigidaire replacement. It performs well temperature-wise, but when it was only a couple years old the door handle cracked wide open. It was so delicate, you'd think that it was a movie prop "Break-Away Refrigerator... Read more

This ice maker assembly produces and dispenses ice cubes in your refrigerator's freezer compartment. It automatically fills with water, freezes it into cubes, and releases them into the ice bin. Replace this part when your refrigerator stops making ice, produces misshapen cubes, or makes unusual noises during the ice-making cycle.
My first hour: I investigated first by pulling out refridgerator to see if the water line hose was kinked. I started under the kitchen sink where it begins, coming from faucet water supply. Then I followed it to the back of the fridge to see if anything looked odd. Next I went to the ice maker itself. I investigated the ice maker by removing the freezer food sliding tray and hanging tray, and then unscrewing the door off the slides. When I looked inside at the ice maker, I saw the tube where... Ice maker stopped making ice? This complete ice maker assembly resolves no ice production and leaking issues. Easy DIY install with video guide included.
Well, I got online and found several YouTube videos on how to check what was happening. I have a multimeter and tools. I first replaced the external water filter just to make sure it wasn't that, and it needed it. That wasn't the problem. I then removed the water inlet valve which was really easy. I didn't disconnect the water lines but I did unplug the power plug. Using the ohms setting on the meter, I tested the coil of the valve solenoid. It wasn't open. I checked the voltage at the plug... Fix a dishwasher with no display lights or unresponsive controls. This user interface board restores button function. Moderate DIY repair.
I started with Google searches for the problem, using the dishwasher model number to narrow down the number of results. When I found several posts in the forum on AppliancePartsPros.com from other people having the same problem with the same dishwasher, as well as solutions that involved replacing the control board, I decided to start with that. The repair was very easy, especially with the help of clear and well-paced videos showing exactly what to do and what to look for. I was able to... Read more
Bottom door bin for refrigerator storage. Installs on lower refrigerator door to hold bottles, jars, and condiments. Replace if cracked or broken.
This was a tough fix because there were two causes to my problem - a stuck water valve and a bad ice maker. I first replaced the water valve, but that did not resolve the problem. Tested existing water valve and found that the valves were working properly. Returned the water valve - easy RMA process and no issues. Replaced the ice maker and problem solved. Read more
Ice maker won't dump cubes or stopped making ice? This ice maker assembly fixes failed harvest cycles and frozen trays. DIY install in 10 minutes with 6 screws.
Replaced ice maker unit. 4 screws to remove cover on inside door. 2 screws for ice maker. Three connectors: ice maker on/off switch, LED light, wiring harness connector. A second person assisted by bracing the door for me, but not necessary to get the job done. I also used some cellophane and tape to cover the door opening for the 5 minutes it took to replace the unit. Again, not necessary, but it was quite warm out and it kept the freezer contents from thawing out. Appliancepartspros.com had... Read more
Replaces broken or cracked endcaps that secure your refrigerator's pantry drawer. Kit includes left and right endcaps for complete repair.
All you need is a nut driver. The end cap is attached to the side of the refrigerator cabinet with two long screws. Once you remove them, you should slide the end cap towards you. It will release the internal clip that holds the front of the end cap. You should then unscrew the metal slider from the end cap. Assembly of the new end cap is the reverse. You should first attach the metal slider to the new end cap. Attaching the new end cap to side of the refrigerator cabinet is a little tricky.... Read more
Fix a refrigerator that stopped making ice with this complete ice maker assembly. DIY-friendly installation takes about 10 minutes with basic tools.
I replaced the icemaker. It was fairly easy, with the most difficult part being access to the icemaker in the bottom freezer. I loosened two screws, removed one additional screw, disconnected the wiring and removed the old icemaker. I mounted the wiring harness and ice level sensor arm from the old unit onto the new icemaker and installed it with no problems. I wish I'd done this months ago instead of repeatedly attempting to repair the old icemaker. Read more
Not making ice? This ice maker assembly is the common fix. Most DIYers complete replacement in 25-30 minutes with a socket and screwdriver.
After researching a number of sites for a diagnosis I tended to think the culprit was going to be the ice maker thermostat. Checking pricing and availability of the thermostat prices were very close at $40 BUT wait now you have to but the thermo mastic at another $35-$40. And after some continued research the factory ice maker in a $3000 msrp 4 door refrigerator was/is known to be defective long after warranty period expires. So it only made intelligent sense to buy the entire icemaker at a... Read more
Replacement door bin for refrigerator inner door panel storage. Needed when original bin is cracked, broken, or missing. Snaps into place on door.
There was no packing inside the box with my bin door at all (no plastic, paper packing, styrofoam, popcorn, NOTHING), hence one of the sides of the plastic bin door was snapped off. I called your customer service as soon as received it and they said they would send a new one. I asked if he could make a note to put ANY type of packing material inside the box or it would probably end up in the same situation. Your customer service rep was very nice and personable. I have yet to receive the... Read more
