Speed Queen Washer Parts

I replaced both the solenoid (part of the inlet valve kit) and the pressure sensor. Online research suggested my intermittent issue with the cold water fill being just a trickle and then causing an error was likely due to one or both of those two parts failing. Since they are in the same spot it was suggested (and I agree) that it is best to replace both at the same time. The belt/Idler kit arrived next day after placing the order. The included directions were very clear with an exploded diagram. Four bolts remove the motor/pump assembly from the machine, three clips release the pump from the motor, then four small nuts remove the support brace from the motor to get access to the pulley and lever. Speed Queen is out of stock in the washer door for this model and the appliance repair company said it was on back order indefinitely. I had saved the broken door so I ordered the inner plastic liner and the glass separately and used the saved outer door part and the screws and bracket and the mechanism that inserts into the machine itself to lock the door in place and sandwiched everything together and after a few attempts at the correct order of putting it all together, managed to get it... Pulled the broken knob off and replaced it with the new one. Took about 10 seconds I think...maybe less. Read more
