Rubber foot that attaches to the bottom of cooktop grates. Replace if cracked, worn, missing, or loose to prevent grates from sliding and scratching.
I removed all the individual burners so I could lift the stainless cover to expose the igniter wires. I cleaned all the wire connections and the 4 good igniters and replaced the one bad igniter. Reassembly was easy and everything worked properly when done. Video of repair was helpful and all parts ordered were correct and shipped promptly and I will definitely use AppliancePartsPros again. Replace your broken or cracked cooktop burner control knob. This knob installs on the control panel and allows you to adjust flame settings.
While trying to fix the problem I broke the knob. Appliance Parts Pros.com had the part delivered in 2 days! After looking at the video I decided there was a poor ground at burner #1. Removal of burner confirmed my suspicion. Years of use “spills” has insulated the burner from a good ground, thus preventing a good spark. Removal of black residue cleared the problem. I am now in the process of cleaning the remaining 4 burners just to be sure. Read more

I looked up and found a couple of good youtube videos on troubleshooting and also came upon the AppliancePartsPros.com site. I opened the cooktop (youtube video helped) after turning off the gas supply... Read more
