This throttle assembly cable is manufactured by Craftsman, but also used by Poulan, to regulate the flow of fuel to certain small gasoline-powered engines. This assembly houses the throttle trigger that is used by almost a dozen different machines, including not only trimmers, but also pole saws and other small gasoline-powered tools. When an operator pulls the starter rope out, there is a pulley around which the rope then has to recoil. The starter spring maintains tension in the pulley so that the rope will naturally recoil.
