This oven bottom insulation retainer secures the oven's bottom insulation panel to help keep insulation in place and maintain proper heat distribution. Replaces a torn or loose retainer to reduce movement and rattling under the oven floor. What it does:
- Holds the oven bottom insulation firmly in position to prevent sagging or gaps.
- Helps stop insulation from shifting and causing rattling or debris buildup beneath the oven floor.
- Supports consistent internal oven temperatures by keeping insulation correctly located.
- Common symptom: loose or missing retainer may cause vibration, noise, or visible insulation displacement.
What's included: One oven bottom insulation retainer. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas if applicable) and allow the appliance to cool completely before servicing.
- Remove the oven bottom panel to access the insulation area; keep fasteners for reassembly.
- Handle insulation gently; avoid compressing or tearing the insulation material.
