Dishwasher worked fine except the top rack would keep coming off the rails, could see the rollers needed replacement. Washer is 10 years old, and in that time the rollers had become brittle and broken. At first tried to use old screw and washer, but washer was impossible to remove from screw as I have hard water and the calcium deposits seemingly cemented it. Following the great video on the site, I pulled the motor off and was about to put the o-rings on when I noticed there was rust on the motor shaft. Very close inspection showed the o-rings were still good. Not having time to order a motor, and a local store was having a sale, I replaced the whole unit. Read more

It's an easy fix. Just remove the two screws holding it in place. Then it will be easier to remove the supply line. Disconnect the quick-connect wires. Remove the rubber hose and clamp. Attach the rubber hose and clamp to new part, attach supply line, attach wires and then screw back into place with screws. Turn on the water and test for leaks. Read more

Because the dishwasher made noise only when washing or rinsing, and not when filling, the problem was correctly diagnosed as a faulty circulation pump. Although not difficult, it took more time to remove the dishwasher from under the counter and to reinstall it (approximately one hour) than it took to swap out the circulation pump (5 minutes). After a bit of testing I found that this thermister was not closing when the water was up to temp, causing the machine to stay in the wash cycle. This was a 5 minute job to change, accessible from under the machine without moving it. Easy fix, good price! Read more
