Called a repairman and he told us we needed to change a bunch of parts and would cost over $400! Decided to do some research online and found suggestions to replace the spark igniter. Replaced the hinge receiver with a new one. The old one was bent slightly inside where it could not be seen. I think someone pushed the door down to far or fell on it. 2 screws to remove it, take out storage drawer and reach up little ways to remove and replace the receiver. Replace the 2 screws. The receiver comes with 2 screws but I ordered an extra ( never used it ). The sides of the receiver were spread just a tiny bit but were enough to cause a problem. Read more

We replaced both front orifice holders. Very easy to bend and break. If it has a deep bend in it, It will slow down the gas flow to the burner. if you have a low gas flow your burner will burn low So check your small silver gas lines and if you smell gas check your lines Read more

For the third time in four years, the hinges failed on my KitchenAid wall oven. The appliance is out of warranty and KitchenAid does not consider this to be worthy of any recall. Had to drill out the portion of the old foot that was still in the grate. Cleaned out the opening. Popped in the new one and voilà- all fixed. I ordered 8 of the feet as I see this eventually happening to all of them. Read more

This is for the Whirlpool in-wall double oven GBD307PDS10. No power and the door locked after the shutdown before the self-cleaning cycle was over. Bought a Thermador PRSE48" dual fuel range from Craigslist really cheap because it didn't work. Did a little research and decided to overhaul most of the top (gas) end.
