Bought replacement relay board, replaced it. Would not work, turned stove circuit breaker off then on again. Display panel showed stove was resetting waited for reset, tested the bake option twice to ascertain it was working correctly. It worked! The plastic piece on the handle where the screw goes in to hold glass door up had broke. I ordered new handle, the retainer pieces that go over the plastic pieces to lock it all in and screws that were suggested. The screws were the wrong ones. They were way too small. I already had one screw and thankfully only had to buy 1 new one because the screw was $40 and shipping’s $10 for it AND it’s on back order right now. Had to replace the switch for the left rear burner on a Whirlpool cooktop Model W5CE3625AB00. I turned off the circuit breaker for the cooktop and lifted it out of the countertop. It was simply held down by its own weight. There were approximately a dozen screws holding the smooth surface down onto the rest of the unit. Start by removing the frame on the sides and bottom of the door. (Do not unscrew the corner screw holding the side frame and bottom together.) Be careful the glass will fall once the last screw is removed from the bottom so hold tight. Carefully remove glass and set aside. Remove top frame that held the handle. We replaced both front orifice holders. Very easy to bend and break. If it has a deep bend in it, It will slow down the gas flow to the burner. if you have a low gas flow your burner will burn low So check your small silver gas lines and if you smell gas check your lines Read more
