The Glass Shelf is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It provides storage space for food and beverage items in the refrigerator door. The glass shelf measures approximately 16-3/8 inches by 17-5/16 inches. Causes of a bad shelf can include cracks or chips developing from repeated opening and closing of the heavy refrigerator door. NOTE: This is a set of 2 slides.
There are videos on You Tube,. After removing the bottom basket, you remove the entire drawer including the door together with it, by using a screwdriver to depress the white clip on each drawer slide which releases the slide from body of the freezer. Once you pull our the entire drawer, you will need to drill out a rivet to remove the old slide. You will need a rivet gun to attach the new slide. Read more
