• Door won't open after self cleaning cycle

I knew the door latch was suppose to lock for self clean and it wasn't, so I took the back off and after tracing out wires and the linkage to the door latch, determined that it was a faulty motor on the latch lock. Went to YouTube for pictorial on the repair. Found it to be an easy replacement. Made a wiring chart, followed the reverse order of wiring. Installed part checked that part floated on its spring mounts and did not touch anything. Checked my wiring a second time agents my chart-making shore all spade connections were tight. lowered and secured top turned power back on and tested part.. Part functions correctly. Read more

Oven is a slide in. I pulled it out just a Few inches and removed 8 screws and Pulled the face down to expose the unit. The control unit had 4 screws and 4 Plugins. It only took me less than 10 Minutes to replace unit and slide back In place. Read more
