Symptoms of a bad Heater Box include:

• The dryer operating at higher temperatures than normal
• Unusual noises during operation, indicating potential airflow or mechanical issues
• The outside of the dryer becoming unusually hot during cycles

This 6-foot dryer vent duct connects your dryer's exhaust outlet to the wall vent. It provides a secure path for moist air to exit the home, helping maintain airflow and consistent drying performance. What it does:

• Vents hot, moist air from the dryer to the exterior
• Replaces crushed, torn, or lint-clogged ducting
• Helps address longer dry times, heat buildup/shut-offs, or moisture and lint around the dryer
• Supports a short, direct run to reduce kinks and airflow restrictions

• Disconnect power; for gas models, turn off the gas supply before starting
• Pull the dryer forward and remove old ducting and lint/debris from connections
• Attach the duct fully to the dryer outlet and wall vent and secure with clamps; avoid sharp bends or crushing
• Move the dryer back carefully and confirm strong airflow at the exterior vent hood

This replacement terminal box encloses the dryer's rear power-cord connection area. It shields the terminal block and wiring to help prevent arcing and heat damage, supporting safe, reliable operation.
