Fix gas smell or burner ignition issues with this range top burner valve. Common repair for leaking gas odor when range is off. Moderate difficulty.
I replaced the Igniter switch, two control valves and one holder/orifice (because I couldn't get the screws out and decided to just replace it rather than re-tape it and get new screws). The one thing I forgot was I have propane and the orifice was for natural gas. Fortunately, I was able to swap out the orifice from the old holder. Read more

Removed the knobs and the screws holding the knob plate. unscrewed the burner valve and swapped out with the new part from appliancepartspros.
