Removed 10 Star Screws to get the door cover off and the fascia panel snapped off. Inserted the 6 buttons and the door handle into the facia panel prior to snapping it in place. Screwed the door cover back in place and the job was done. The facia has two tabs that need to be inserted into the door. Be careful not to crack them as they seem fragile. Removed 6 screws holding lower front panel. Next removed all screws holding broken mounting tabs that were from original facia panel. Replaces the outer door panel on your dishwasher. Needed when the existing panel is dented, scratched, discolored, or you want a different finish.
Removed the original outer door retaining screws with torque bit. Unfortunately the new door was slightly thicker than the original. Therefore also removed (loosened) the control panel to fit the new door behind the control panel slots that the outer door was to slide tabs into. Fastened all screws back in place. Control panel screws very tight fit but forced into place. Looks great but difficult as new outer door not perfect fit in thickness. Read more
