This refrigerator deflector is a molded guide that mounts inside the unit to direct internal airflow where it's needed. Replacing a cracked, warped, or missing deflector helps restore proper circulation for more consistent temperatures and performance.
- Channels airflow within the freezer/dispenser path to maintain even cooling
- Helps reduce frost or ice buildup caused by misdirected air
- Can address symptoms like warm spots, frost around vents, or rattling from loose parts
- Replace if broken, deformed, or missing
What's included: 1 deflector Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing
- Remove shelves/panels as needed to access the mounting location; keep track of screws/clips
- Install the new deflector in the same orientation; reuse existing hardware
- Reassemble and verify that vents/air passages are unobstructed

The top shelf for the lower door (fridge) Scott M. • Mclean , VA • October 10, 2015
My only problem was I didn't have the part in stock. I do maintenance at a 150 unit Apt. complex. The fridgidare model we have all 3 shelves are different. This repair was so simple a 2 year old could do it. The rest of my order was for stock. Things get broken quit often at work which is good for job security.
