This tub-to-pump hose connects the washer's outer tub to the drain pump, channeling water out during the drain cycle. Replacing a worn hose helps stop leaks and restore consistent draining when the original is cracked or deteriorated.
- Provides a sealed path from the outer tub to the drain pump during draining
- Helps the washer remove water at the end of wash and rinse cycles
- Common failure symptoms: water leaking at the front/bottom, puddles after a cycle, or slow/no drain
- Visual clues: cracks, splits, swelling, or soft spots in the hose rubber
What's included: 1 tub-to-pump hose Install notes:
- Unplug the washer and turn off water supply; expect residual water—use a pan/towels
- Access the hose per your model (often behind the lower front/service panel); note routing/orientation before removal
- Transfer and reuse the existing clamps; seat the hose fully on both fittings and secure evenly
- After reassembly, run a brief fill/drain test while watching for leaks

Leaky drain hose Rocco S. • Rochester , NY • February 24, 2017
Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day!
