How to replace Assy-Case Sensor;Dmt800,. First, researched problem and resolution procedure on the internet. I kept my iPad handy to replay anything, or to do further research, if needed. I shut off (1) the electricity at the breaker panel, and (2) the appliance's water supply valve, then disconnected the water line and wiring to the dishwasher. Keep rags/towels handy for residual water draining from line and other components during removal and repair. I then removed the fasteners attaching the appliance to the base cabinets/counter. Keeping cardboard on the floor for protection and water absorption, I removed appliance from under the counter. I then removed the guard over the evaporation panel and case sensor assembly. I removed the interior vent to loosen the exterior evaporator panel (turn counter-clockwise with a pair of needle nose pliers inserted), and free the case assembly sensor. Disconnect wiring to the case sensor (modular plugs) and the drain line (uses a spring clamp), Remove and replace case sensor assembly, and reverse the process to reinstall. Seeing the videos on line is helpful, as there are no instructions that are included with the part. The last step was to check for leaks after re-energizing, and testing the unit, then ensuring all trim was re-installed. Complete success with no complications. Admittedly, I took my time during the process, so as not to damage or miss anything during the uninstall/ re-installation. 7 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
