This genuine OEM part is a clock timer for ovens. The clock timer is the part of the oven that allows the user to set a time for cooking and baking. If the timer buttons are no longer responding to touch or the timer's digital display is no longer visible, it will need to be replaced. Luckily, replacing a timer is a fairly simple repair. To get started, make sure the range is unplugged. Once unplugged, pull the range out and away from the wall to gain access to the upper back panel. Remove the mounting screws to the panel to gain access to the back of the control panel. Locate the timer and proceed to unthread the screws that hold it in place. Once loosened, pull the timer out of its place and install the new timer by threading the mounting screws that secure it to the control panel. Reinstall the upper back panel and restore power to the appliance. This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Westinghouse brand ovens.
