This is the detergent dispenser assembly that mounts inside the dishwasher door and holds both liquid and powder detergent as well as rinse aid. It controls the timed release of detergent during the wash cycle. Replace this part if the dispenser door fails to open during the cycle, detergent remains in the cup after washing, or dishes are coming out dirty due to soap not being dispensed properly.
I wrote down the model and serial # of the unit. I went on line to Appliance Parts Pros, and entered the data. Up popped a schematic with the part clearly numbered. The video on AppliancePartsPro is not for the part I ordered. After searching a bit I learned that I needed a 3/16" hex driver to remove the two screws that hold the assembly to the washer. This small check ball sits inside the dishwasher's drain pump or water inlet valve and acts as a one-way valve to prevent water from flowing backward through the system. It ensures water moves in the correct direction during wash and drain cycles. Replace this part if you notice water draining back into the tub after a cycle completes, the dishwasher isn't draining properly, or water is leaking from the pump area.

This is a stainless steel door handle kit for a dishwasher. It attaches to the front of the dishwasher door and provides a grip for opening and closing the unit. Replace this handle if it is cracked, discolored, loose, or broken, making it difficult to properly open or secure the dishwasher door.
