Installed replacement burner. Not a one-to-one fit where the wiring is concerned but everything needed to effect the change out was provided with the part. It is important to make notes of what was connected to what on the old one and to compare that to the new one. I used a download of the wiring diagram to good effect because it has the color code for the wiring on it. I attempted to diagnose the four thermostats/thermal switches in the microwave....two right behind the control panel, one on top of the cooking cabin, and one under a metal shroud above the magnetron. While checking continuity with a voltmeter, i questioned one of them behind the control panel and the one above the magnetron. • Little to no heat when baking

I removed two screws at rear of oven, disconnected electrical connectors, and removed old element. When the new element arrived (on time), I connected the new element and replaced the two screws. The oven worked perfectly! The repair was extremely easy and cost effective. Read more

So I ordered the burner and Ithe switch because I wasn't sure what part was defective. I pulled the oven out and I removed the 6 1/4 inch screws on each side of the glass top as well as the 2 Phillips head screws on the back, removing the 2 1/4 screws on the shield on the back gIves you easier access to them, then lifted the glass top up on the front to access the switch and burners. First check to see how many leads your switch has before ordering - I ordered before I took things apart, and got an incorrect 2 lead version when I needed a 3. On starting the repair, at first thought I might have to take apart console - but happily, no.
