I read the help guide on the AppliancePartsPros.com web site and then decided to test my defrost heater with a volt/ohm meter. I read an open circuit. I then removed the radiant heater element from the refrigerator and see nothing wrong with the element, but the connection on both sides to it, that resemble a spark plug wire to an automotive plug, was corroded to a powder making no electrical connection.
