Replaced Surface Elements. Easily unscrewed the Oven Bake Element to replace it. Not all G.E. products are what they used to be.Getting replacement parts in was sooner than expected. 2 days instead of 7. Thanks. Much cheaper to prepare meals at home than eat at a restaurant or fast food. Read more

Turned the power off. Lifted the oven door up and off.to make access easier and to clean an replace gasket.Then unscrewed the element brackets. Cleaned oven. Took oven door apart to replace gasket ,you have to separate the door halves to clean window and get the gasket out. This is where you better take pictures and notes. After watching the videos and reading the instructions on your website and the instructions which came with the new part, installation was easy. Watched YouTube to see how. Spade electrode connectors are hard to unfasten. Used flat bladed screwdriver. Used heavy gloves to reconnect them. Must mark all connection points with sharpie or have genius memory. Read more

Having a very old wall oven,I could not find any parts or manual associated. Chris diligently located a part that would hopefully replace the old element. The old oven did not have the sleeve type connector used for the current elements. The old wiring had a screw attachment. I drilled a small hole at end of new element connector and then screwed the wire and element together like the original. Not difficult but very pleased and it worked fine.
