This small spacer fits on the idler assembly shaft to properly space and align the belt tensioner. Replacing a worn spacer helps keep the drive belt tracking correctly so the drum/tub runs smoothly and quietly. What it does:

• Install the new spacer in the same location/orientation; reassemble and route the belt correctly
