This electronic oven control board governs your range's heating functions and displays the time and timer. Replacing a failed board restores reliable bake/broil operation, accurate temperature control, and a responsive clock/timer interface. What it does:
Stumbled upon Appliance Parts Pros web site and after some research bought 2 circuit boards. (UIB) Interface Board AP4501702 and ESEC Relay Board AP5780950. I carefully replaced the UIB board first and it solved the problem. Things like taking the door off can be found on the internet and took me far more time than actually replacing the board. I have never used APP before but understand that the other board is returnable. I am a very happy and future customer. Read more

Range not responding to buttons or display blank? This electronic control board manages oven functions, timers, and cycle sequencing. Moderate DIY repair.
Fixes oven showing ERR code, not heating after preheating, or won't start without resetting breaker. Controls temperature, timers, and display functions.
Symptoms varied: oven not starting; oven preheats OK but after you open the door to put in food and close it, the oven showed temp OK, didn't turn on, and heat would drop to nothing over time; other times, it would begin preheating then start beeping and showing the temperature setting, then an 'ERR' and die. Would not start unless I shut off the circuit breaker, then turn it back on. At first i replaced the temp probe, which worked once then all the above began again. Next I replaced the... Read more

Range won't power on, clock or controls aren't working? The electronic control board manages all oven functions. DIYers report plug-and-play install.
The display of the control worked, so one might not question it but there is nothing else that would simply shutdown while heating. This part came faster than a 'technician' and 5 sheet metal screws and 4 mounting screws later, the new unit was installed. The only delay was the waiting for the oven to reach full temp to verify that it was working - it is. The parts places try to sell a new membrane panel ( adhered display cover (numbers and labels) for these but the old one can be removed... Read more

Oven won't heat, buttons unresponsive, or display blank? This control board with overlay governs all oven functions. Moderate DIY repair for most models.
Main electronic control board for electric cooktops. Manages user interface and appliance functions. Replace if board is damaged, burnt, or unresponsive.
Microwave won't turn on, made popping noise, or smells like burned electrical? The noise filter often fails when solder joints arc or short out.
When using the microwave it made a frying sound and completely stopped working. Took cover off (after unplugging) and found filter coil solder joints fried. Took a chance on replacing filter. Works perfectly now. Looking at the solder joints again, under magnification, discovered they were not done properly in the first place. Use caution with cover off, there is a capacitor near the filter that could prove dangerous. Also need tamper proof torx bit to remove 2 of the cover screws, or small... Read more
Fix unresponsive controls or erratic oven behavior. This electronic control board manages temperature and timing functions in your wall oven. Restore normal operation.
The Convection Relay Board is an OEM part for Frigidaire ranges. As a specialized electronic component, it seamlessly powers the convection fan and heating elements facilitating enhanced bake modes.
Prolonged electromagnetic interference exposure from convection fan motors degrades functionality over time reducing useful life without replacement. Versatile air circulation cooking depends on consistent control response.
Causes relate to normal electromagnetic component fatigue from field induction multiplying across years of regular convection cooking cycles. Impacts introduce risks abruptly limiting advanced airflow recipes.
Symptoms indicating relay board issues involve:
Replacing with this OEM Frigidaire part restores air movement management. Compatibility also fits some Electrolux, Gibson, and Kenmore ranges.
This part is a genuine OEM controller that has been manufactured by Frigidaire for use with ranges. The controller works to monitor the selected oven temperature and the heat controls. This part also features a digital clock display that shows the time and temperature settings. Over time or with regular appliance use, the controller can become worn or broken, requiring replacement. Disconnect the range from the power source and wear work gloves to prevent injuries or electrocution during the repair process. This part is sold individually and is manufactured from high-quality, durable, non-corrosive materials. This controller is intended for use with different compatible ranges manufactured by Frigidaire, Electrolux, Gibson, Westinghouse, and Kelvinator.
Replaced the main controller with the same manufacturer's part for half the cost of the retailer doing it. Easy fix. Power unplugged, replace unit wire by wire to make sure of connections. Can be done without removing the top edge cover, but if you loosen the cook top and remove the top edge cover it gives you much better access. The original repair guy from Sears said the Kenmore Elite series ranges were known to have main controller problems if the main line connections were not tight and... Read more
