Just screwed on the new handle. The new handle did not come with threaded holes, but this was OK because the screws that came with the stove were self tapping. This is the upper heating element located at the top of the oven cavity that provides high, direct heat for broiling. It glows red-hot to sear and brown food placed on the top rack. Replace this element if the broiler does not heat, heats unevenly, or if you see visible damage such as blistering, cracking, or burn-through spots on the element coil.
