Take the cover off back. Pull two-wire plugs off back of switch (remember how they go back on). Pop switch out from back through the front with a screwdriver from underneath switch by pushing up on the retainer clip. Rather than replacing the whole ignition switch harness, I cut out the broken switch and replaced it with Burner Ignition Switch WB24K10017 / AP2632529. Wire stripper, small wire nuts, and electrical tape were also used. At first, the new switch was constantly on when the knob was in the off position. The gas valve shaft has a "U" shape.
