• Moves air across the heater, through the drum, and out the vent to remove moisture
• Helps maintain proper airflow and temperature inside the dryer
• Common failure symptoms: reduced or no airflow at the exterior vent, longer dry times, unusual scraping/thumping or vibration from the blower area, or overheating/shutoff
• Cracked fins or a stripped hub can cause the wheel to slip on the motor shaft

• Disconnect power and turn off gas supply before servicing
• Access the blower housing per your model's service instructions; remove the retaining hardware and replace the wheel in the same orientation
• Clean lint from the blower housing and vent path; inspect the motor shaft and blower seal for wear
• Reassemble and verify the wheel spins freely without rubbing; check airflow at the exterior vent
