The genuine replacement air filter is made of foam and catches dust and debris from the air as it enters the engine on select lawn and garden equipment. Replacing the air filter does not require any tools. Allow the engine to cool and simply remove the filter cover, take out the old filter, and replace the new filter. Then replace the cover.
