To me that's a challenge. I saw the AppliancePartsPros.com story on Google, read it and decided to try the solution that worked for other people. A clutch shifter motor that was around $20. I checked a few local appliance parts stores and no one carried the part I needed in stock (even though their websites said available for pickup). I then ordered the part through AppliancePartsPros on a Saturday afternoon and had it at my house before noon Wednesday. Installed the new part and it's been working great. Stephen H Chattanooga , TN March 28, 2015 Appliance: Model WT5070CW Lg washer stopped while in a cycle and displayed error code e6 Based on research I determined that the possible causes were the control board, the clutch assembly, or the diverter/clutch motor. Since the washer made no unusual sounds when attempting to start, I did not think the clutch was likely to be the issue. The control board was quite expensive, so I decide the most likely failure was the inexpensive (cheaply made) motor. This turned out to be an accurate assessment. Appliance part pros shipped the item same day of my call and I received it the next day. Was very pleased with my first experience with them and would recommend them to anyone needing parts. Stephen S Canton , MS May 14, 2017 Lg top load washer e6 error code After my three year old washing machine wouldn't turn the drum anymore and came up with an E6 error code, I started my online research. I found this website and a few people say to try this motor assembly first. I figured it was worth a shot. I ordered the part on Tuesday. It arrived Thursday. To replace this part on an LG top load, all I did was lean the unit back at an angle and held with my left hand and used a socket to take off the two bolts holding it on. Then I took it off and reinstalled the new one. After that, I simply hooked up the electronic cable I took off, plugged the machine back in and all worked perfectly! Thanks to the reviewers that took the time to let us know about this fix! Without this, I'm sure it Would have been an expensive repair.
