The Water Line is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. As a component of the refrigerator's internal plumbing system, this water line connects the water filter housing to either the ice maker or water dispenser valve.
Causes of a bad water line can include kinks, cracks or splits developing over time from normal use and vibration inside the refrigerator walls. Mineral deposits may also cause restrictive buildup within the line.
