Replace a cracked, broken, or worn burner head on your gas cooktop. Provides mounting structure for the burner cap and igniter. Sold individually.
I replaced the old burner with the new burner assembly which included the ignighter. The screw that held the old ignighter was frozen into the old burner such that just the ignighter could not be replaced. Be care full removing the screws to the burner as they also may be frozen and tend to snap off instead of unscrewing. You will need to drill an tap new holes. Read more

Replacement passive door hinge for electric and gas ranges. Serves as the pivot point for your oven door. Replace if bent, broken, or worn from use.
I knew for sure that the hinge with the large spring was damaged, but elected to replace both hinges and receivers. Replacing the parts was fairly easy and would have taken me less then an hour. This model has thin metal covers over the hinge assemblies. I found that squeezing in the sides of the covers help to hold them in place on the hinge while reassembling the door. My only difficulty was putting the door back on the oven. It took a little maneuvering but I managed to get it. Now the door... Read more
Burners won't light or spark intermittently? This spark module controls ignition for gas burners. Moderate DIY repair, typically behind control panel.
Replaced module: Although the new module was slightly different due to a third or ground terminal that was not on the original I managed to figured out that I did not need to worry about the ground since the existing wiring had already allowed for the connection. Easy repair. I ordered the part one day and it was delivered the next and that was using the least expensive delivery service. You guys are great Read more
If your large burner won't heat or stay at the right temperature, the element switch likely needs replacement. Simple 10-15 minute repair with a screwdriver.
You have to take the knob off the broken part, then buy the new switch element and fix it. To do this you turn the power off, take out 6 fasteners to release the front panel of the stove and replace the switch element. Then put it all back together. Very simple. But if the knob was designed better it would not have broken in the first place. It looks nice, but this is the third time I have had to fix one. Read more

Replace your cooktop's burner cap if cracked, rusted, or missing. Sits atop the burner head to evenly distribute flame for consistent heating performance.
After many years of excellent service the burner I use most often on the top of my JenAir range rusted through. After trying to remove the burner, which was firmly rusted into place, I decided to replace the cooktop pan, both burners and igniters. It was an easy repair to swap out the new parts for the old, and the only tool necessary was a #2 phillips screw driver. The only difficulty was that although the cooktop pan appears symmetrical, the screw hole pattern on each side is different. I did... Read more

The Thermal Fuse is an OEM part for Whirlpool ovens. This part cuts off power to the oven if it detects excessively high temperatures, preventing potential overheating and ensuring safe operation.
Over time, the thermal fuse can fail due to regular use, exposure to high temperatures, or electrical issues.
Symptoms of a bad thermal fuse include:
Replaced fuse. It took much longer to get the oven out of the wall to access the fuse and replace the front panel than to do the repair. This fuse failed at the end of the cleaning cycle for the bottom oven and left the door locked because the open fuse removed the 120v power from the control board. The locked door made it impossible to remove one of the screws holding the wall oven in place. However, after I ground off the head of the screw behind the edge of the locked door I was able to...
