This door seal replaces a worn or damaged gasket around the oven door, creating a tight barrier between the door and the front frame. A fresh seal helps the appliance heat efficiently and maintain steady cooking temperatures. What it does:
Found the right part at AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered the part, watched the tutorial. Took less than 5 minutes to install new door seal, and now our laundry area is no longer hot and humid. Before we changed the seal, warm air was leaking around the door and made the laundry room and the kitchen next to it unpleasant. Thanks for the great door seal and the handy tutorial! Read more
This dryer exhaust fan is used on many Admiral, Crosley, Hoover, Magic Chef, Maytag, Montgomery Ward and Norge brands. Size: 3-1/8 inches deep, 8 inch fin diameter, 7-1/8 inch hub diameter, 20 standard fins, 1/2 inch diameter motor shaft, 7/16 inch motor shaft diameter to flat side of shaft. Blower wheel clamp not included. For the clamp order WP312967.
Blower wheel and clamp replacement. Initially, we replaced both the belt and drum roller wheels but that did not stop the noise. By reviewing videos on YouTube and AppliancePartsPros, we suspected that the blower wheel could be problematic, even though with front panel of dryer off, we did not see any visual clues to support that theory. Purchased the replacement clamp as well, just for good measure (and it was inexpensive). Note: we did call AppliancePartsPros with our model AND serial numbers... Read more
Restore clear, reliable control of your appliance's timer. This two-piece timer knob and dial replaces worn or broken controls so you can accurately set cycles and read the settings again.
The timer knob simply pulls off the shaft with a solid, steady pull. Cleaned the timer cavity of lint/dust buildup. Aligned the keying flat of the shaft and knob and pushed the new knob on with careful, steady pressure until it was obviously seated. No tools required other than a vacuum. The door switch would sometimes not shut the dryer off when the door was opened. New switch came with new fast-on connectors. Replacement required opening the top cover of the dryer and hinging it up. This... Read more

Ended up replacing the cycling thermostat which corrected the problem. Andrew C. was very helpful with considerations and return of unneeded parts as well as very informative technical assistance. Could not have been treated better. Read more
This indicator light lens covers the pilot/indicator lamp opening on the appliance's control panel. It protects the assembly and diffuses the light so operating status is easy to see, restoring a clean, finished appearance when the original lens is damaged or missing.
Purchased the triple burner and dual burner element. I added my model of stove and I was able to pull up diagrams of the stove parts. The parts were easy to find using the diagrams and the burner elements were marked 17 & 15 so I placed my order. Parts were here in a couple of days. The tricky part was figuring out how to get into the stove top. I was a few youtube videos to see different replacement. My husband and I got the stove top off and flipped it over on the counter. We looked at... Read more

Size: 26 inches long. F18t8/cw/k26.
I replaced the controller. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get to it. The video on the website showed access to the control via the rear panel. On the Kitchen Aid we have, the back panel is part of the range's main frame and does not come off. Turns out, 2 screws behind the fluorescent lamp had to be removed and the entire control panel housing lifts up and can be tilted forward. (I needed to clean behind the range anyway, so it was no big deal)!! The replacement part instructions... Read more

A high limit thermostat that stops heat when a dryer's temperature gets too hot, helping protect the heating system and cabinet from overheating. It's a direct-replacement thermostat used in many gas and electric dryer heater assemblies. What it does:
When I pulled out the dryer from the wall, I could see dust/lint had accumulated everywhere and the vent system was compromised. I vacuumed up the dust/lint accumulation outside and then inside the vent system. I then opened the lower cabinet to clean and check its condition. I removed the water steamer bottle and its sub-assembly and then the drum. After cleaning and inspecting components — both visually and with a multi-meter I determined the problem was the appliance doing what it was... Read more
