The Upper Spray Arm Water Tube is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It is a vital component of the washing mechanism responsible for spraying water across the upper rack.
Over time, mineral deposits can clog the narrow openings of the water tube, reducing water pressure and spray effectiveness. Accidental bending or cracking of the flexible water tube could also cause spray issues.
Symptoms of a bad upper spray arm and water tube include:
- Incomplete cleaning of dishes on the upper rack
- Dried food soils left behind after washing
- Noticeably weaker water spray pressure from the arm
- Possible leaks or drips around the arm connection point
Replacing with this OEM Bosch part restores full spray coverage and optimized washing for all rack levels. It is also compatible with certain Miele, Asko, and Jenn-Air professional-grade dishwashers.

Dishes were not getting clean Dorman P. • Ponte Vedra Beach , FL • October 18, 2014
After we saw that progressively our dishes were not getting clean we investigated the condition of the spray arms and this upper feed tube assembly. We found a huge crack on the side of this piece and new not enough water was getting to the arms. We also noticed a build up of soap and lime. So we ran a cycle of vinegar and sprayed the filters and arms with lime-off-sprayed them out with a air hose "completely". Many of the small pieces of lime will clog the holes in the spray arms. Internal water leak on a bosch shu5316 uc/06 dishwasher David B. • Aspinwall , PA • March 13, 2015
Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. (The water appeared to be coming from above on the left side of the DW, near the top, rear of the DW's blue "Pressure Chamber." Thinking that the problem likely lay in either a malfunctioning Pressure Chamber or in a...

Symptoms of a faulty water inlet system include:
- Fluctuating or absent water flow to spray arms
- Leaks forming inside or near the installation site
- Errors relating to improper water temperature or amounts
Causes of a bad water inlet system involve typical degradation such as:
- Limescale clogging narrow valve openings
- Plumbing joint corrosion compromising integrity
- Splitting plastic tubing unable to withstand cycles
This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with some Miele, Blomberg, and Thermador dishwashers.

- Common symptoms include detergent left in the cup, a dispenser door that won't latch or opens inconsistently, or a visibly broken/missing lever
What's included
- 1 actuator arm with spring
Install notes
- Disconnect power to the dishwasher before servicing
- Open the door and remove the inner door panel fasteners to access the dispenser linkage
- Note the spring orientation; move the spring to the new arm if needed and seat the arm in the correct pivot location

Soap dispenser door wouldn't open David H. • San Francisco , CA • May 15, 2015
Took door off, saw that dispenser linkage was ok, I could open and close by hand, so figured the wax motor or the wiring to it were most likely the problem. I took off the wax motor ( actuator) and ran 120 volts to it via jumper wires, and it did not move at all, so figured good chance that was the problem. Found part # on your site, received new one quickly from you, put it in and works great. Thanks.
